Measure the full-field displacement, strain and temperature field.
Thermocorr is an open source 2D digital image correlation PYTHON program with additional function of coupling thermal fields. The program was created at the beginning of 2016 as part of research conducted at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research Polish Academy of Sciences in Laboratory of Thermoplasticity. The motivation for its development was the need to experimentally determine different mechanical fields in relation to the material point on the sample's surface. An additional aspect was having own software and not using commercial programs as a black box.
First of all you need Python interpreter. If you do not have Python installed on your computer, start with its installation. It's best to download the latest version for specific operating system. It must be version 3.3+. The ThermoCorr depends on other packages written for Python. Here is the list of all dependencies:
If you can install all of these packages on your computer, it means that Thermocorr is supported by your operating system.
The windows 10 64 bit installer can be download from the following link: ThermoCorr-1.0.win-amd64.exe
You should run the installer as administrator!
